Magda Mayas (piano) -de + Laura Altman (clarinet) -au

Magda Mayas is a pianist living in Berlin.Developing a vocabulary utilizing both the inside as well as the exterior parts of the piano, using preparations and objects, she explores textural, linear and fast moving sound collage.Alongside the piano, Mayas has recently been performing on a Clavinet/Pianet, an electric piano from the 60s with strings and metal chimes, where she engages with noise and more visceral sound material, equally extending the instrumental sound palette using extended techniques and devices.Magda Mayas has performed and toured in Europe, the USA, Australia and Lebanon and collaborated with many leading figures in improvisation and composers such as John Butcher, Peter Evans, Annette Krebs, Phill Niblock, Andrea Neumann, Axel Dörner, Thomas Lehn and Tristan Honsinger.

BLOEM est la rencontre entre le saxophoniste Jean-Jacques Duerinckx (aka Maurice Charles JJ) et l’artiste sonore Anton Mobin.

Instrumentiste, travaillant principalement la pâte sonore, le souffle, les sons multiphoniques, la richesse de timbre, les sons non orthodoxes et modes de jeux contemporains: il aime à évoluer dans un univers peuplés d'entités sonores étranges où le son se fait matière; il y puise son inspiration. Tout d’abord influencé par Steve Lacy, sa rencontre avec le saxophoniste français de renommée internationale Michel Doneda fût décisive.
L’idée d’utiliser la matière sonore de l’instrument comme vecteur d’énergie constitue un des points d’ancrage principaux de son expression artistique Dans l'improvisation musicale libre, il aime à partager ces moments uniques, subtils, volatils, fragiles, mais oh combien profonds, intenses et surprenants.
De part son parcours musical il fût amené à jouer avec de nombreux musiciens renommés improvisées libres tels : Lol Coxhill, John Russel, Paul Rutherford, Jim Denley, John Edwards, Jacques Foschia, Peter Jacquemyn, Tatsuya Nakatani Dan Warburton, Josep Maria Balanyà...

Producteur radio, il réalise depuis 2009 sa propre émission “A Maïzing Session With...”, un programme radio diffusé sur la webradio KKWNE et dédié à la musique improvisée, et depuis octobre 2012, réalise Epsilonia avec la Squadra Lumaca (deux jeudis par mois) sur Radio Libertaire.
